Watchers

Been a long time since I used this site. A huge amount is occurring. I'm currently in the process of building a website that is the ultimate steampunk network.

We have everything from a social network to chatrooms, events calendars to news. Most importantly though we have tutorials, written by wonderful contributors. Ever wanted to learn to mod, fight like Sherlock Holmes, fly an airship. All this and far more is available.

The site is still under construction but I look forward to seeing you there.

Hiya.

I've been roped in to help some good friends of mine set up a costume for a steam-punk festival. As this isn't the most common of occurences down here in the colonies, they're taking it quite seriously.

Can you give me any advice on the easiest way to build a pair of goggles, or perhaps direct me to someone who can?

Hello, sorry for slow reply. Most of the goggles I make require some degree of metalworking knowledge/experience. The easiest, quickest and cheapest option are costume goggles. There is a good tutorial here: [link]

I hope that is of some help :)
